Hey guys, Matt here and just recently on December 12 the 194 featherweight champ of UFC, Conor Mcgregor defeated Jose Aldo in an outstanding 13 seconds! This Irish champion gets much of his inspiration from the one and only legend Bruce Lee, and he does not disappoint when put to the test against the Brazilian featherweight champion in possibly one of the most unexpectedly quick matches in Mixed Martial Arts history.
This 27 year old athlete born in Dublin, Republic of Ireland has already made a name for himself in UFC history having the second fastest knock out in MMA history and being the first Irish UFC reigning champ. His fighting technique consists of heavy pressure on his opponents and hard strikes given the opportunity. Not only is he a hard hitter, but he is ranked a brown belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu adding to his belt he has decorated so fashionably as of late.
Jose Aldo supposedly "fractured" a rib sparring a week or so before the battle with Mcgregor and he no doubt has intentions of trying to get his rematch and redeem his honor. However, until the next war it seems our Irish hero is victorious today!
I do apologize for the lack of fighting news lately, but that shall be remedied... This is Matt signing off for the night.
